Finally booked our moneysaving Disneyland paris holiday !

.... well after nearly 2 weeks of researching, I finally booked out holiday.

4 days, 3 nights in May... for a grand total of £884 for 3 ADULTS and 1 child.

It was a pain, as we needed 2 rooms at the hotel.. and everywhere was quoting us over £1200 for this privalage. we are also flying over, for convenience really !!

I finally managed to get it all sorted by booking it all directly... one of the best hotels being Holiday Inn @ Disneyland Paris.
Book direct with them for £44 a night per room. Also found some cheap disney park tickets online and booked the flights direct with the airline (do not fly with BA, as they were over £200 more expensive than most standard airlines).

So very pleased with the price I have paid !

Blimey - we have done 2 adults and 2 children for a fortnight in a luxury villa with pool in Florida for less than £2,000 with 2 weeks car hire !

It is expensive even when you shop around - but our two eldest kids have been watching DVD and reading brochure this week and are getting excited!

We are going in May as well - family of 6 so only place we found to accomodate us was Pierre et Vacances, booked direct 3 nights for £335.

Haven't done tickets yet, we are only going for 2 days to the Parks and cheapest I have found is 365tickets (£272 for 2 adults & 3 kids, youngest goes free as under 2 still) - where did you get yours Liz?

Travel etc is all included with Keycamp as we carry on for 2 weeks with them in the Vendee. Travel & accom for that in a static on sites in Vendee and then Loire on way back is cheaper than short stop at Disney!!!

    Of course
Those flights were through travelcity http://www.travelcitydirect.com/ but that was just because they happened to be cheapest at the time.

I just checked the car hire and the firm has unfortunately gone bust - probably because the cars were so cheap !

Might be useful for those with families of 6 to also consider the benotel My Explorers which is close to the park (walking 20 mins or 8 min on free shuttle) and has special family rooms for 6. Prices vary - but we paid 104 eur per night. It is designed with kids in mind with indoor pool, softplay etc. and the price includes breakfast. I am sure the rooms will be fairly basic but we don't mind about that. No idea what it will be like, will post on here once I have been. Here is the link...
