One voucher gives you a free child ticket with one full paying adult. Vouchers are valid from 25 March to 29 October 2006.
Savings are £23 per kid.

I have just got back from a weekend at LEGOLAND and just thought I would let you know the cheapest way we found of doing it (as we are on a really tight budget and promised our son we would take him for his 10th Birthday!!) Firstly we went to https://www.lastminute.com to buy our tickets, they are on offer at £15.00 each. Then we booked 2 nights accomodation at Slough Travellodge through https://www.travellodge.co.uk and they were at an amazing £10 per room per night. Breakfast wasn't included but for every adult paying £6.50 for an all you can eat buffet breakfast you get 2 childrens breakfasts free. We had an absolutely fantastic time and I would recommend it to anybody thinking of doing it. We live in Birmingham and left at 4pm on Friday afternoon and arrived at 6pm (which was fab) then on the way back (Sunday)left at 10.30am and arrived home at 12noon.
ps. the only cheaper way of doing it (as far as we know) is to collect Texco clubcard vouchers and "cash" them in for days out vouchers. Hope this helps somebody0 -

Did you get free parking at the Slough Hotel?
Was it free to park at Legoland.
Did you buy a 2 day pass for Legoland or go sightseeing elsewhere for your weekend?0 -

Hi, Salsa1
Parking at Legoland is free. There are some preferentinal car parking (closer to the park), I think it is £5 a day. Have a look here http://www.legoland.co.uk/planyourvisit/directions.htm0 -
Sorry, forgot to mention that we could not park at the Travellodge. There is a car park directly behind the lodge but the receptionist did not recommend this as you have to pay a fee of £1 per hour up til 6pm, then an overnight charge of £6.00 and then a fee again in the morning from 7.30 until you leave!!! (and if you are anything like me you wont want to be getting out of bed at 7.30 to move the car or charge up the meter) Which is a major rip off, but unless you are told you know no different. She did recommend one opposite the afore mentioned carpark, this is a lock up carpark that charges £6.00 overnight from whatever time you get there until 10am the next morning. The only trouble with this is that you can guarantee that you would "need" the car if you could not get it out!!!! The other car park is the Herschell Street car park (which is the one we chose) which is a multi storey car park directly opposite the front of the travellodge (which appears to be the most popular as it was full) you can only park on levels 7 & 8 up until Friday but can park anywhere an a saturday and sunday and this is £6.00 overnight from whenever you get there until 10am the next morning and there is the added bonus of a man walking aroung looking official!!
We arrived at 4pm on friday and spent that evening having a chill out after school and work etc, we got up early on saturday to have a "good" breakfast so we would be full for the daythen we set off at 9.30 to get our tickets from guest services, we thought it would take a while to get there but in fact it only took 15 minutes. We had the most fabulous day at Legoland and then left exhausted at 6.30pm after we had drained every last bit of energy we could....
Today we were going to go to Chessington as it is not too far but decided against it and believe me I am glad we did as we could not have stood another day as Legoland was bigger and better than we thought so we don't think we would have had the "get up and go" to visit another theme
park!!!!!!!!!
p.s Leave the log flume and the water slides til last so you dont have to walk around wet (un less it is really sunny) although you can pay £2.00 to use a stand up dryer for up to about 4 people to dry yourself off.
Hope this helps you all.0 -
Sorry agan, forgot to mention that my ason is a member of the lego fanclub and they sent a leaflet out on friday wiht some special offers of hotel accomodation and cheap rates at the park. e.g At the Marriott Windsor for £189.00 you can get 2 Adults and 2 Children sharing a family room (including b&b) and 4 two day tickets to Legoland. After working out what we spent on the Travellodge, parking, park entrance for 1 day etc this works out no more expensive. You have to quote a code to qualify and I have a few for 5 different hotels. Let me know if these are wanted.
btw they are mostly for weekends0 -
Thanks for all the info. I have 2 children aged 8 and 5.
Do you think that they may be a bit young to go?
Cheapest I can get a family room at Travelodge is £26 per night.0
