Macbook Insurance

Hello,

I am currently living between two houses, neither of which I own or have any house insurance policies on, although my possessions are covered with the main house insurance policy that my sister holds.

I have recently bought a £2000 Apple Macbook pro and I am looking for some advice on insuring it. It is kept in a padded bay at most times and is nearly always indoors with me or in the boot of my car for short periods of time.

I have looked online at some insurers and most quotes are coming in at £200+ per year.

Is it worth it?

I have applecare for 3years which covers me for mechanical breakdown, and I am extremely careful with it.

Does anyone have any advice?
