I've just been listing some of my old Playstation games on Amazon, one is listed at £30 & another at £59.99 - these are some of the cheapest prices for these games on Amazon at the moment. I was offered £4 each for these @ Gamestation.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0

Manc_Lucy - You must remember they are a business not a charity, it is your choice whether to accept their offer or not.
Mario Kart is the best N64 game, easy to play and hours of fun for up to 4 people.
I'm well aware, Neisma, that Gamestation are a business. No need for your patronising tone or obvious comment. I took my choice and rejected their appalling offer.
The game was Ghost Recon 2 for Xbox and this was Dec 2004. The game had been released just a month earlier and was highly sought after. For me to effectively take them new stock, still sealed, and for them to offer £6 after consulting their computer was an insult. How is it good 'business' if I walk away with stock that they could have made a reasonable amount of money on? They tricked themselves out of profiting by being too greedy.0 -

Gamestation's prices are worked out depending on the new price of the game, ammount in stock and such. It could have been that they already had a lot of copies in stock pre-owned so hence the low priceTitch0 -

Since when has a gift NOT been free?0 -

Manc_Lucy, calm down don't get your 'knickers in a twist'.
Getting emotive by using words like 'appalling' , 'insult' , 'greedy' , 'patronising' is not appropriate in a business scenario.
Gamestation did not force you to do anything, they made you an offer on your game for what they considered the market rate to be for them.
Perhaps your 'attitude' towards the Gamestation staff resulted in the offer they made you for your second-hand game. I have always found being polite and respectful towards shop staff often gets you what you want these days because of the abuse they get from many people.
Think about it.0 -

"calm down don't get your 'knickers in a twist'" - yet more patronising crap.
However I'm the male partner of Lucy, not Lucy herself.
As I said, they CONSULTED THEIR COMPUTER and a printed till receipt stated £6 for the new top title that I had to offer. No 'attitude' was being directed at them. Nor was the game second-hand, STILL SHRINKWRAPPED as I've already stated.0 -
I always found Gamestation to be full of young lads and ladies who actually play games and have knowledge of their products, if a game is rubbish, they will tell you its rubbish and advise you not to buy it. That to me is someone who is looking out for a customers needs, and I would definately advise their service over anyone in game, who generally from my experience, are only working their because its a job, not for their love of games.0

Good lad - I could tell he really wanted to spend the other ten but overcame the temptation. When we got back home, I bought him another game for a couple of quid on EBay as a surprise - he doesn't know yet but I'll let him open the parcel. Have to reward his saving behaviour.
