Kudos to Gamestation!!!
My eldest littlie(11) took in his old Playstation(bought for £11, 2 years ago on Ebay), Gameboy Color and a few old games as he really wanted a nintendo 64 (why??? dunno - lol)
Anyway, they had one in - the SNES he was originally after had already gone, and it was marked at about £25.
With the trade in, he got it for £0.78p!!!!
He'd already got £20 out of his savings for it so he bought 2 games at £9.99 each but then the SA told him they were on BOGOFF!!!
So I lent him the 0.77pp and he put the other tenner back in his account!
Good lad - I could tell he really wanted to spend the other ten but overcame the temptation. When we got back home, I bought him another game for a couple of quid on EBay as a surprise - he doesn't know yet but I'll let him open the parcel. Have to reward his saving behaviour.

Sounds great!!
Of all the consoles I've had, the N64 was one of my faves!! Super Mario 64 is an all time classic game and there were a few other great ones too!!0 -
GoldenEye is also a top game - especially in 4-player mode.0

Ive got my sons old megadrive in the loft with loads of games which I have put by for my youngest son, unfortunately when i tried it the other day it doesnt work? can you get them repaired or is it not worth it?0

I'm glad Elise has had a good experience trading with Gamestation using old hardware but they are dreadful when it comes to recent/current merchandise.
I've taken in a hot, recent release that's £40 in HMV, etc., still riding high in the charts, kept it in the cellophane wrap and been offered £6. An independent shop offered me £20.0 -
Am not into trading in games normally as you get ripped off on new software but I have to admit Gamestation offered me £30 for a trade in on my xbox360 game and Game only offered £22.
If I ever trade in any more items I would go back to Gamestation as the offer better prices than Game0 -
Choices do good deals sometimes, depends on the game, sometimes better than Gamestation and Game, sometimes not.0

I have always found Gamestation to be very fair and flexible.
Manc_Lucy - You must remember they are a business not a charity, it is your choice whether to accept their offer or not.
Mario Kart is the best N64 game, easy to play and hours of fun for up to 4 people.0 -
The way to get the best trade in is to see if the other shops will give you a better deal first and then go back to gamestation and tell them to beat the other shops price.0

It is possible, but tends to be expensive, and it's not going to be worth a lot at today's prices even if you throw some money at it.
In another 5 or 10 years' time, it might be different, of course. You pays your money (or not) and takes your choice0 -
games station give better trade ins that game0
