Got an iPod video (30Gb), think its called a 5th Generation too? And after a decent, but small and smart looking speaker/dock for when i go away for weekends away. Needs to have a fair output if possible, but not break the bank. I know Im asking a lot, but any suggestions?

I have a JBL Onstage II, its shaped lke a doughnut and is quite loud, its mains only though if thats a problem.

It comes with a small RF remote and a pack of adapters for specific i-pods.
Around £50 last time I looked. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

It comes with travel case and built-in rechargeable battery, which is great for camping, gardens etc when you are not near an electric socket.0 -
I bought a couple of these, they're amazing.... http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/shop/Gadgets.4/X-Mini.319/XMINIII/X-Mini_II_Capsule_Speaker.3728.html
The size of a snooker ball (fits in your pocket) & the hi bass sound out of them is unbelievable for they're size + you can keep adding & plugging them together for even better sound......... Couldn't recommend them enough........
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -

A pair of regular PC speakers will probably suffice - if you can stand the leads involved. These are 8 quid:

Just plug them into the headphone socket.0
