Can anyone help...going spare here! Every time I find a great £9 room (on the '£9 sale now on' section) at say, Clacton and then click through to book, the rate has gone up from £9 to £35! And this has happened at every place I have looked at. AAARRRGGHHH!
Thanks
Sarah

I don't think it's your fault, just that their website doesn't update the availabilty.
I've tried some for Clacton too, & when clicking on a £9 night, only £19 saver or £50 flexible comes up. There are some £9 rooms though, but few & far between. 10th Dec came up at £9. Keep trying
are you trying to book each night individually? If you see several nights at £9 and one has no sale price availability, you will be charged the higher rate for all nights.0 -
Thanks Sooz. I am trying to book a Sat/Sun or Sun/Mon and going spare in the process! Is it worth keeping on trying or d'you think the rooms are mostly gone by now? See, I really ought to do some work!!0

If you look under the 'rates' key that the search throws up you'll see the following
"Availability of rates displayed correct at 6am this morning. Rates displayed may have sold out. Please select a date from the grid to check for current availability and prices at your selected hotel. This will show both flexible and saver rates where available."
So unless you are looking at 6am they can't guarantee the accuracy of the grid.0 -
If I want to book for a two night stay at travel lodge and one date is on offer and one is not, could I book the two nights separately, to get the offer on the one night. Does that make sense?Serious Lightbulb moment Jan 09MISSION TO CLEAR DEBTSMum [strike]£660[/strike] 0 Tesco CC [strike]850[/strike] 0 Barclaycard CC [strike]2789[/strike] 0 Toysrus [strike] 357[/strike] 0 Ge Capital [strike]4768[/strike] 0DFS [strike]553.88[/strike] 0:j:j:j0

Mrsmx5, is the first night the saver rate?
If so, select that and go through the booking process. Do not click on add another stay. Instead in the booking process, click to modify details. Then change the stay to 2 nights. If it happens the way it did with my booking, it should then give you the room with the price of the saver for one night and then whatever price the second night was, rather than both nights at the dearer price.0
