Oh yes, they do, i have been ringing up the DWP just lately on a 0113 number

    Have you tried lately
If you have a direct dial number you can get through on a geographical number, granted, but do they have a 'call centre' geographical number?

And no, I dont call the DWP, I've no call to.

Exactly who are you to tell me to sod off? And why in the name of god would I care about your opinion?

It was meant to be humourous - some people dont need neon signs to pick up on humour.

Like i say, it didnt look humorous to me. Your post came over as pointless and unhelpful. All it would have took was a smilie. Dont be so blumming defensive. Didnt i say you were to sod off only if it wasnt humerous therefore i didnt actually tell you to sod off. And there really is no need to blaspheme, it isnt nice, calm down dear, its only a forum :rotfl:

    Many thanks for your reply.

I get very confused by all this..... !!

They have agreed that I am medically unfit to work in their revised decision.

Which group does this put me in?

    How often is this reviewed?

Will payments not restart automatically or do I need to do anything?

What do I have to do?

None of this information was in the decision letter (form) and I have held on for over half an hour twice on the phone without getting through!

    Thanks

We do not know which group you have been put in, it could be either, I would expect that they will write to you to let you know. I do know that the vast majority of people are being put in to the work related group.

The payments should restart automatically as they the DWP have decided you have qualified for the benefit.

McKneff and ESA - Children Children really !!!!!!

    Thanks Healy

One of my questions has now been answered. A reasonable amount of money landed in my bank account overnight from DWP. I assume this is ESA at a higher rate from when payments were stopped plus the difference between the basic rate and the higher rate backdated to week 13 ?? Maybe I will get some information sent to me but who knows !!

I am reasonably intelligent and articulate (I think) but I really feel for people less able to "fight their corner". Even so, the reason I'm getting ESA at all is because a whole number of doctor's consider me unfit for work. The whole process does not help one little bit. I am fortunate that I can buy my food and pay my council tax (at least for some while) whether the ESA turns up or not. But imagine if you can't...........
