''Breach of Agreement/Contract'' question

HI all this is my 2nd thread about my problem.
Basically I need to know what constututes a breach of contract/agreement?
I am disputing services I have received from a training company and have made them aware that they are in breach of their own terms & conditions, written on the reverse of my signed training agreement. The company in question say that I am overstating the issue and will not accept these claims.
Also a 3rd party is involved (finance company) saying I should continue making my payments as they agree with the training company. I have explained to them that there has been a complete breakdown of trust and that as far as I am concerned the training company have not provided the service I was told I would receive and are in breach of contract with myself.
To add to the matter I have a signed credit agreement from the training company with the amount payable as £xxxxxxxx but the finance company one is £1000 more.
I have asked for clarification from both parties but there repsonse is to refer to the agreement!!! The fact that I have 2 differenent ones seems to be ignored.
Where do I stand??
Do I need to take legal advise or am I supposed to carry on paying for goods that I am not in recept of?
Have I any way of obtaining a refund for the £1200 I have already paid out??
Sorry if I seem abrupt but I really need to act on this matter urgently.
Many thanks for reading and in anticipation of any replies
regards
Steve

Basically I signed up for a fast track plumbing course with a company, paid a deposit of £500 (the rest monthly via direct debit of £124). My agreement with the training company stated total amount to pay £4995 but finance company documents state I pay £5995. The two agreements have different amounts payable which I only realised when I went through the agreement paperwork. I have asked both parties for an explanation which neither have given.
Also
Upon attending the first practical workshop I realised that the course was not the one sold to me by the training companies sales rep and nearly left then but was talked into staying on which I did but with personal reservations.
Upon attending the 2nd practical workshop 6 months I had issues with the tutor's behaviour & attiutude towards myself and left the course after 1 day. I signed the companies early release document and the centre manager advised me to cancel the direct debit for the course fee payments which I did straight away.
Now the training company state that my claims for breach of contract/agreement are not valid and have passed their views into the finance company who now expect me to pay for a service (training) that I am no longer receiving.
I have told both companies that I have no intention of carrying on studying as I cannot place any trust in the tutor's or themselves as a company to provide the training I signed up for.
I have currently paid £1200 out of my own pocket and have asked for a refund.
Hope that helps
regards
