New user wanting to post a link

Options
I know the policy is "Sorry as a new user you are not allowed to post with links. This is done to stop spammers clogging up the site. Please edit your message below to continue."
But the reason I signed up was to answer a question that needs to be answered with a link.
I am hoping by posting this that I won't be classed as a new user any more.

Alternatively I anybody is willing to be PM'd they can take the kudos of answering the question!

It takes more than one post I'm afraid, but not too many. We have had spammers rapidly posting multiple post/threads in the past. :(

Chat and participate on the boards for a little bit and it will soon work. :)

If it's a genuine query then why not post it on an appropriate section of the forums and see what the response will be.

Drat, I keep forgetting that the Quick Reply button isn't working.

Anyway, I just tried to post to ask if it was possible to give directions rather than an actual link?

For example, I might want to point someone to information for schools on the National Eczema Society website. If I tell you there are links from their home page, you'd be able to find it, right?
