    Hi everyone,

Please may I join in? I sent my ED form (IPOQ) back a couple of weeks ago. Do they inform you if and when ED is given or should I be checking somewhere? Having a "doh" moment!!

Hi SA and a good question. If you get "shelved" then how is one to know how things are progressing. I am grateful for the OR and their help in these matters but I feel that the BR needs to know the score and if a ED is under consideration then "shelving and forgetting" is not very professional of the dept.

I presume by the term "shelved" that one would not get an ED and have to wait till auto discharge occurred.

    Hi there hoos,

I know it has been said that ED is a minimum of 56 days after the forms go back but how do you know if it has been finalised, or as you say shelved?

Perhaps SA, we could pester them on the blower, so they don't forget and we don't get "shelved "along with last years Cliff Richards single;)

Hmm...the IPOQ letter accompanying does state you must not ring the OR's office at any time to discuss ED

Yep, I remember reading that. I might be ringing them anyway soon to ask if I can earn some money to pay for moving costs.... I may just mention it in passing....... ;)

Phil. I just read that on the form. I wonder why?

I missed that this morning, I just flicked through it then in my excitement posted on here, not quite as clear cut as I thought;)
