I do trailer checks for them but the last one was beginning of April. Was a possibility of Harry Potter but that fell through. It's a pity they don't get more work as the website is one of the best to use.
On another note does anyone know what SPi is and is it worthwhile getting involved in.I've asked on here what SPi is, but never got an answer...! I still don't know, but would like to.
SPi is the service check at the cinema regarding the concession stand.0 -
Thanks for the prompt responses.
I noteiced there is no indication whatsoever of what the fee is for GAP jobs. If your doing say 1 job a week for GAP how much can you expect in a month?

The jobs for different clients pay differently - it depends on the complexity and requirements of the shop.On GAP the fee is shown in the 6th column on the results page.Dan

Sorry Andy - only just got back online so now its too late for you - AM's left today as Im sure we all now know after the email was sent so seems I may have been her last contact. Im gutted, hope the new system is efficient as the old, I could get mine anytime by phone and received instant replies from emails I sent.
(Hope you managed to find a slice for your sandwich!)

Thanks, what I did was looked through all my old emails (the ones the AMs send advertising jobs) and emailed a couple of them, got a reply from one within a couple of minutes, so I was able to do the job this morning. As luck would have it Gap rang me yesterday asking if I could do a chicken shop at lunchtime so I didn't starve :rotfl:
About the AMs, I agree I hope the new system is just as good, I think it's a shame they've gone as this was one of the things I liked about TNS.
Hope the AMs have got other work to go to, as you say times must be hard for TNS too.Happy New Year :beer:0 -

We have a rule on this thread that we don't discuss fees. However if you do just one job a week, it will take you a long time to get rich. For most jobs (especially GAP/RE) the fee is more of a "token" payment. I do an average of five jobs a week, and the money I make is still really only "pocket money".
But when you factor in the free stuff, it's still worthwhile. For example I've just been to a supermarket. Very small fee but they reimbursed me a small amount for my shopping too and it's stuff I would have needed.
There are some people who claim to make a full time living from this but I think it would be difficult and a very insecure existence, since we all go through periods when there are no jobs at all available.Happy New Year :beer:0 -
Right, GAP job search link sorted:
Log in to GAP as usual, then copy this link, paste it into your address bar, and change the "hxxp" to "http", then change the cities, making sure that the commas are still there.
For the foreigners amongst us, simply change England to Wales/Scotland/wherever, and then change the cities/towns as described above.

Let me know if this works (it does for me!)
Does not work for me.0 -
Just noticed that to accept the hamburger jobs on GAP we have to agree that our names/addresses/phone numbers are given to the client.
Is this new, or did I just not notice it before?0 -

New I think?? It's probably just so they can check we don't work there or have a family member who works there?0
