I have my first MS this Sunday, but after reading quite a few pages on here i'm now a little worried about not getting paid for jobs. Is this common? And what what sorts of things do they not pay for? If anyones got a top 5 tips for being paid i'd be eternally greatful. Thanks!

edit - sp. Doh! better not do that Sunday!

I already answered this previously and gave you three. I have now thought of another important one.

Don't try to fool a company by making up things you forgot. Be open and honest.
If you can't remember, or forgot to check the loos, or count the number of tills open. Then say so.
The company will appreciate that more than being given an answer which they can prove is false.

If you fake it, then your credibility is shot and you will be coming to this forum complaining that you don't seem to see so many jobs as everyone else..

I have been forgiven some dreadful mistakes. I like to think it was because I admitted it and apologised.

I mean who else but me could not remember the time he visited a shop the previous day (mistake one) and hadn't kept his notes for even 24 hours never mind three months.(mistake two)

On another occasion, the day after a visit I couldn't describe the assistant except for the fact she had legs

On both the above occasions I got paid and I still get lots of work in the same shops.

Because not everyone is as smart as you, and may not know what town/city their postcode area belongs to, as the poster who was posting at the same time as when i posted my list.

Just because you understand it doesn't mean everyone does.

I posted the list to help people, perhaps I should bother if people are just going to criticise :mad::mad:

I just want to say that I've found your list very helpful! I've been living in England for 7 years now and am still finding their postcodes and town/city confusing :o

Just applied for an ESA job, do they email you to let you know it's been allocated or do I need to keep checking the site?

They email if you have got it but keep checking anyway. I think they are an ok company and don`t be put off by the number of questions.

I just checked my bank statement which shows my Bare payment and I've been charged £7.00 by my bank. I've done jobs in the past for Bare and not been charged. Do you think it's because my silly bank is charging me to convert euros to pounds? Does anyone get paid via Paypal, and if so, is there a charge to receive payments from Bare?

    TIA,

Ive used paypal a lot for other things and never been charged for receiving money provided you draw over £50 at a time from your account
I'm wondering why a round pizza comes in a square box -
