Actually I couldn't've come back before today even if I'd wanted too - I've had a hell of a week, you might have seen on the news about the power cut in North Kent/SE London due to vandalism at 12.45 Monday lunchtime, well I've been without power for 65 hours, :eek: :eek: it came back 5.45 this morning. And we're off to Cornwall this afternoon so I'm currently trying to get everything washed and dried to pack!

Luckily being the school hols, I hadn't got any jobs at all booked this week, if I had, I wouldn't've been able to do them, or contact any of the companies to tell them why!

Anyhow, signing off now to do more packing, am taking the laptop and O2 mobile broadband dongle with me so hoping to be able to log on, but we're staying in the middle of Bodmin Moor so I'm not too sure!

Will definitely be back on this thread when I get home though.

How did you cope without power for all that time? I mean really, I'm interested in how you coped in case it ever happens to us!!

Grrr I can't access MCE on my work computer -I already missed out on a job I really wanted to do for them last week and looks like I'll miss out on a haircut too... gutted...

Don't suppose anyone wants to log in for me and see if the jobs still there?!!?

Note that the "building merchants on TERN" alert is in response to an email about some outstanding jobs in Scotland, that need doing between 27th July-4th August

Can't believe the scottish accent requirement of Tern job just been emailed... I've an English accent but spent my first 4 years of MSing in Edinburgh!!!

Next MCE will want us to have hair for the hair cut jobs!!!

Are you sure? I couldn't see them on the Job Board before the email, and now I can. I think they just sent the email out because there's obviously a specific target shopper. I could be wrong as I've only just signed up with TERN, but I couldn't see the jobs before.
