Anyone had experience of lost/missing receipts with Aba reports.
I've been and done a job today for a clothes shop and made a note of the original receipt number took my item back and they kept the receipt but now I've come to do the report I can't because somehow my paper work has got wet and I can't make out the receipt number.
I've tried ringing but looks like no-ones working today and I don't want to fill my report in if I'm not going to get paid.
I've sent an email but don't know how long it will take them to reply.
Any advice???

I did one yesterday and another one today, in both cases they gave me a new receipt marked "Return" with a note of the item returned and the amount refunded. I paid cash both times. I appreciate this doesn't help you but certainly worth a phone call to the store0 -

Thanks for your reply but I might have been misunderstood.
The job was to buy an item then take it back, but before returning it I had to make a note of the purchase receipt details. I did this and got my refund so that's fine but my report needs the original purchase receipt details which I cannot read because they are all smudged on my notes.
I won't be able to ask the store for a copy of the purchase receipt if I've already taken the item back - they'll wonder what I'm up to.£10 a day challenge £349.01/£3650

One thing I did the other week, when doing a couple of red shops, I had to return for the refund after 45 minutes, so in that time I went and found a stationey shop that could photocopy my receipt, just in case the shop didn't give me my receipt back, which they didn't, as I'd paid in cash, not by card like the brief said. I still got paid, in the main because I'd photocopied the receipt. I'll remember to pay by card next time though, so as not to risk it!!0

OK, all sword shops are to be left to me in future please. Thank you
What a pleasure the shop and write up was - and no minimum spend :T
