A friend of mine got an email from a female who said she was from ESA and provided this website address, https://www.esa-webms.co.uk/login.asp, for my friend to register their details. According to my friend when he asked where she had got his email address from she said that a friend from another mystery shopping company had given it to her. My friend said what put him off was the fact that she wouldn't answer who had said he was a mystery shopper and she was very interested in his bank details.

Can anyone tell me if this is a genuine company as when I did a search on this site I didn't get any results. Am I being cynical?

If you look on the first page of this thread you'll find a list of MS companies and their contact details. If you register with an MS company they will want your bank details and NI number to confirm you are resident here and are legal to work. There certainly IS a company called esa so if the web address on their site matches with waht your friend has then it's legit.

Don't know why esa didn't come up in your search though-they certainly get mentioned in posts.

Had a bit of a disaster day yesterday .Had a lunch MS meal at a pub and the service was so slow was already tight for time. Train in front of mine broke down and I wasn't going to get to a nearby town in time to do one of the two jobs that needed to be done within the time set so decided to leave both and reschedule. I was a bit concerned about one of them as it has to be done within 3 days of scheduling and this was the third day. I got home to a message from the 3 day company saying they noticed I had a job in that town that day and could I do second one today too (message left at 3pm so a bit optimistic of them for a same day job) so I got the original job rescheduled and a very nice new job added-. Worked out well as I have two jobs one stop past this town to do this morning anyway. Sometimes you can make lemonade out of lemons :)

To me that sounds an odd scenario, but the address and company are the same as one of the MS companies I use and they have been mentioned on here a number of times.

    Good for you!!

I wish there was a "Yay" button or a "Well Done/Congrats" button like we have the "Thanks" button to put on posts!!

I don't see anything new on RE :(
  • I had a torso shop offered to me via email the other day , dont think they went on the website as they were for a specific day only and they didnt want to be let down by anyone ...... so I guess that one was just a random one showing that shouldnt have been released.
  • Just read another post on the alerts thread and maybe my assumption above is incorrect then but was only going by my email and subsequent phone call to RE....

Managed to pick up a few Bookies on RE today but all the Stamp Shops in my area have either gone, or not been uploaded yet.

Had anyone nicked all the Stamp Shops in South Yorkshire?? Someone keeps nicking them all off Gap before I get a chance to look, so it wouldn't surprise me :(

Edited to add: I can see a couple of Torso shops too. I would feel very out of place doing those though, what with being a bloke and all!
    Happy New Year
