Hi this is question for leokiss or a tax credit adviser. Firstly how long does a new claim take? and also when I call the tax credit office they told me my claim had been processed but it was waitiing to work out my payment. I still did not get anything so I rang them back and they told me there was a note on the system saying award notice and payment should start to go in shortly but they not know when and I call back up at anytime do you or anyone know know how long it take's.

It is an estimated 4 weeks from the date the claim is received for it to go in to payment. But this is only if there are no issues/problems with your claim.
Once the claim has processed you need to give around 2 weeks (iirc) for the payment schedule to come up.0 -
Oh thanks for that0
