Income Protection Insurance - Redundancy and Job Seekers Allowance I was made redundant last November and luckily had income protection insurance to cover my loan and credit card repayment as well as having some cash left over for essentials. - I have no other insurance on these. I have claimed JSA since November - 6 months on contribution based and now after this. I have just received a letter from the DWP asking for information on what I have been having signed - They want to know how much I get , when i am paid, what I am paying for it, copies of loan agreements, credit card statements, etc. I am still paying monthly premiums for these. Will this affect my JSA , will I have to pay any back - I am only just getting by now -Can someone help.
Thanks

income protection and contribution based is no problem. when you changed onto income based they will take your income protection into consideration and it will probably be reduced due to you having money coming in.0
