What percentage does end of terrace add to a value?

Just wondering roughly what would be the premium on an end of terrace property which is identical to the mid terraces.
Any opinions would be gratefully received.

It really depends. If the end terrace means it has a right of way across it, that the mid terrace does not, it could be worth less. In a lot of cases an end terrace would not be worth anymore just because its an end terrace, unless it has differences such as larger plot, more parking etc.

When we were selling our end terrace some viewers saw it as a good thing, less noise from neighbours etc. Other saw it as a bad point with more expensive heating and the potential for kids to knock a football against the end wall. So i don't think it makes much difference.

The reason that I asked is that I am currently is discussion with the council tax banding people who say it puts our property into a band above the others in the terrace. Looks like I need to get something concrete.

In the road where I used to live untill last year, houses were built in terraces of 5. they were 30's houses & each eot had a driveway & garage to the side. The terraced houses had no garage. The eot's went for approx £10-£15 more than the terraces on average.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Have you applied for a rebanding then? In terms of my eot houses, none are banded differently to their mid terraces and the semi detached also on the same street carry to the same banding (D). It is an ex council estate, if that’s relevant and so is homogenous throughout. Those eot who have done extensions are flagged for rebanding on the VO website but none have been increased yet in that local authority area.

Too many variables to give/get right advice on here for arguement re tax. Perhaps you need your own Surveyors valuation but that will cost you.

Have you thought of looking at the sales price of end terraces in the streets around you on rightmove over the last ten years to give an approximate premium/discount and whether this is material? Seems a cheap and relatively easy way to do it

    Best of luck
