Waiting for my OR interview

  • Hi, thanks for your messages I did leave an update around midday but it did not appear, but to recap, the OR called at 10.10 am, the call itself lasted 35 minutes, no IPA just the NT tax code, only question mark was over retaining my car, but I will get a doctors letter as I have a degenerative bone disease which should justify my keeping the car for work etc.

Finally feel free and like a huge burden has been removed and now reorganising my finances for the next month.

To Tommus who wrote earlier, I have found Plymouth Insolvency Service, very helpful, very approachable, efficient and courteous, and i even managed a bit of banter during my interview so you have nothing to worry about.

Thats good to hear! One thing i'm worried about it is when they ask about specific debts as all mine were pre 2006 when i took my IVA out,do they go into detail about each debt?

If your debts are that old and you haven't had credit in that time I doubt they'll go into it much - they'll more liikely want to know what led to you not being able to pay ie relationship breakdown, job loss etc.

Hi, the above Is spot on. If your last debt Is that long ago,all the examiner Is trying to establish from that point on Is whether you continued to accrue debt during this period knowing your were Insolvent and trying to get more or not, what the debts where for ect and the circumstances around the Insolvency. Most examiners and case officers are approachable and friendly actually want to work with you to keep people from becoming bankrupt again;) So don't worry.
:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:
  • Good morning, I had been on a DMP with CCCS since April 2005 and some of my debts originated from before year 2000 and I was just asked in general how I ended up in trouble and when was the last time I had obtained credit, I sweated prior to the interview about trying to remember the whys and wherefores of each debt, but that was not the case at all.
Try to keep in mind that the OR is acting on your behalf to get your pre BR settled once and for all and not to pass judgement, I know if you are nw to all this like myself it seems very daunting, but after seeing how smoothly it has all gone I wish I had done this 3 or 4 years ago.
