Waiting for my OR interview

Hi everybody, just waiting for my OR interview by phone at 10am today, also waiting for the man from EDF to arrive to change over a faulty electric meter, between 7am and 1pm they said, I wonder what time he will turn up, 10.15 is my guess....starting to get a little nervous, feels like an exam trying to remember facts and figures, struggling at this point to remember my own name........

try not to worry....its really not half as bad as your imagining it will be

get yourself comfy...remember not to waffle in the silence bits (when the examiner is writing notes) & you'll be fine

Hmm....by the way appointments i've always had they'll probably turn up to change the meter at 12.59

    Best of luck :)
  • Best of luck with that there, and what great advice from philnicandamy - be quiet and don't waffle when the OR is writing stuff down! It's so easy to fill in silences when you're nervous.

Can I ask how long it took from your court day to contact from the OR? My court date is 23rd June, but its the high court in London and there's no way I can make it there.

  • Hello, thanks for your comments, got a cup of tea and a couple of choccy chip cookies, well 5 actually, got my revision notes writtien on my hand and inside my trouser leg, just waiting now,

To Shelfstacker - I declared myself BR in Plymouth Combined Court two weeks ago today, The OR said it would be around ten days for my interview, I said friday would be easiest as I do not work Fridays and the appointment time and other forms arrived on the Tuesday after my BR, I am presuming you must have a county court near you that you could try, given the size of London.
  • Good luck!
