IE7 keeps freezing, Firefox fine..

Ih have Internet Explorer 7 as supplied by Sky on my PC. It keeps on freezing and its doing my head in. Firefox works fine, no problems at all. Is it because Sky have supplied a cr*p browser (I remember the trouble I used to have with AOL) or should I be doing some more investigations with Spybot etc?

Try loading IE without any add ons;

Click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

If running in that mode stops the freezing then you need to start looking at what add ons are enabled through Tools -> Manage Manage Add-ons and either update them if necessary, or disabling them individually to ascertain which is causing the instability and then remove it.
