temp car insurance

Hi, my car broke its cam belt (I know should have changed it sooner but it wasn't due for another 20K) and I need my car. Hired a car (£188 pw, ouch) then went out and bought a cheap run-a-round and then had to insure it. Called my insurers and the can cover me one month at a time for a second car for just £35 which I think is great. No messing around changing vehicles, no new policies, no admin fees and nothing to cancel. I'm with direct line and very pleased with the service. :j

Not sure if the info is of any use to anyone but just so happy that something is going right I want to tell someone.

Tracey.
