ive got a personal facebook but have just created a page for my business
but somehow they are linked and would love to seperate them
is it too late to seperate them? another thing i want to do is get facebook badge and put it on my website however i seem to be only able to create a badge for my personal facebook page

can someone explain to me please on how to do this please?

You'll need to setup a Page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php) before you can setup a business profile. Or you could set it up as a "Group" - people can be invited to join groups (or have them open to join), personal ones you can be "friends". There are various ways to setup a business profile:
