ebay or auctiva relist

Options
I am trying to relist some clothes on Auctiva but have got a load of failure messages stating that 'this is not a leaf cateogry'. I understand this is because ebay have been fiddling with their categories.

Anyway I can't see a way to edit the categories thrrough Auctiva so I think the only way to relist would be to edit and then re-list on ebay but what effect would this have on the fees?

I.e some of my clothes have quite a few photos which are obvioulsly free if you list on Auctiva but if I try and relist on Ebay as opposed to relisting on Auctiva, will Ebay then charge me the 12p per picture fee for having lots of pictures in the listing? Basically because I am doing the relisting direct from ebay, will i get charged for all the things that i get for free from Auctiva?

You can click on relist and then edit and change all your categories etc on ebay without going back through Auctiva. If you are planning to stick with Auctiva after the end of the free trial period next week then all your photos will still be free. If you are planning to dump them before the charging starts then make back up copies and use another web based photo storage service like photobucket.

You can always double check you have it right as your fees will show before you click 'confirm' to list.

Ebay pictures are now free anyway, up to a maximum of 12.
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

I don't think that can be right because Auctiva are "selling" their soon to be introduced fees as "cheaper than eBay to list" because of the free photos etc. In their comparisons they shoe the cost of listing via eBay with the cost of photos against their own which are included in their monthly costs.

Not that I am championing Auctiva's new charges. I'm getting out of there fast and shall do my own pic. hosting etc.

I listed items two days ago and noticed that all the pictures are now free.

    EDITED TO ADD:
I just went to check and thought perhaps I was losing my marbles at first. When i entered an item in the 'books' category, first pic free, subsequent 12p. However,. in 'ladies clothes', all pics are free. So perhaps it's only certain categories?

EDITED YET AGAIN TO COPY/PASTE THE FOLLOWING:
    eBay Picture Hosting Fees

    Feature
Short duration (3, 5, 7 or 10 days) - Auction and Buy It Now
30 days - Buy It Now only
    First picture
    Free
    Free
    Each additional picture
    £0.12
    £0.36
    Picture Pack
    1-6 pictures
    £0.90
    £2.70
    7-12 pictures
    £1.35
    £4.05
    Picture Manager
    50 MB
    £4.99 / month
    £4.99 / month
    250 MB
    £9.99 / month
    £9.99 / month
    1 GB
    £19.99 / month
    £19.99 / month
    Supersize Image
    £0.60

    £1.80

Note: eBay-hosted pictures and Picture Pack are free for all listing formats and durations in the following categories: Clothes, Shoes & Accessories and Home & Garden.

the red highlighted part is the bit that caused the confusion, sorry for any misinformation :(
