    I've been Money Tipped!
We have 1 man, his wife, 1 toddler, 1 dog (and soon to be one newborn to join the clan).

We have a Citroen Berlingo 2.0 litre turbo diesel. If you negotiate hard, you can get a new one in your price range (we did last December), although you can get 2nd hand/ smaller engines for less.

We have been on UK holidays and there has been more than enough room for all of us + our luggage + our christmas presents from 2 families (large toys from grandmas spoiling the toddler rotten!). To say the boot is massive is an understatement, plus there's added storage under floors and overhead too.

Added bonus that they have sliding doors in the back too, so a child who flings the door wide open doesn't dent the car next door when in a car park.

broads of watford and bank top car centre, blackburn gave the best deals by far when it came to negotiation time...and we really enjoyed playing them off one another to get a massive cut on the list price!
