Hi I have got a website, which i adapted from a template, It works ok, however there are a couple of bits I need to change/edit like a header etc but i am not sure what/how to do it. i am sure it is very straight forward but its just over me... can someone help. if so here is my site ww.whatisyourlife.110mb.com and it is for example the blue header above the big picture. It is too dark and i would like to put some txt in it. any idea? thank you

The blue bar is a picture, you can either re-color the picture or make a div with the right blackground color to replace it.0

ok, thanks, whats div and how do i replace it please?
thanks0 -
a div is a html element, its used as a content container. its basicly the most generic html element it doesn't really do anything on its own, its just a logical grouping of other html elements or text (which we can apply style to via css)
if you look at your code you'll see lots of div tags.
open up your page and replace this line (near line 69)<h1> <img src="images/wpe17238.jpg" width="330" height="47" style="color: #FFFFFF" /></h1>
with this line<h1> <div style="width:330px; height:47px; background-color:#0000FF"> </div> </h1>
the background-colour should be the rgb hex code of whatever blue you wanted. it may still need some tweaking.0 -
