My first post so i hope some can point me in the right direction
ive been communting to london each day for the past 4 years renewing each year with bennetts, this year my job changed and i had to give up the bike and start to use public transport.
so i sold the bike and i call the insurance company to cancel the policy only to be told i had to pay £30 for the privilage of stopping it! plus any outstanding policy.
I told them i would pay £30 for someone to press a few buttons on a computer and i stopped the DD
I have no got a demand for the rest of the year policy and the £30 totalling £88 and if i dont pay they will past the demand to a recovery company
I was planning to write a letter offering them 1 month pro rata payment £16 + £10 to cover admin and nothing more.
How can they get away with this the banks got thier butts kicked over charges now im paying for a service that i cant use or sell on.
