one month's FREE sky world .. anyone else got it ?

just got an email from sky offering me one month's sky world for free.

obviously i'm going to snap their hands off for it, but i just wondered if anyone else had got one or if anyone knew when the offer expires ?

there's a pre-season tournament featuring tottenham, celtic and barcelona that's being screened on sky on the 26th, 27th and possibly the 28th of july so i'm hoping i can time this offer so that I can watch the games next month.

got through to sky (eventually) and i have a month from today to accept the offer so that'll work out perfectly ..

I got four months of the full Sky World package for £6/month on top of my basic package.

I'd take that one as well !

i remember a couple of years back they did sky movies on offer - 3 months for £3 quid - i had that one as well !

When I was on the phone responding to the offer I was really bright and cheery with the girl on the phone. I said it was a good offer but suggested that there must be a better offer and so that's what I was given. It seemed like I was speaking to a human - a really nice person - and it wasn't someone in their Indian call centre.

i might give that a try .. funny thing is, i probably wouldn't watch 90% of the channels in the Sky World package anyway apart from Sports & Movies.
