1) Has anyone had any experience of the above nasties and although results now show as clear, should I be worried?
2) Do all my Hijackthis logs look normal? Loots like a lot going on!
Cheers in advance, you guys are always brill!!

I would suggest you also download Malwarebytes Antispyware 1.38 which is better than spybot in my opinion, https://www.malwarebytes.com or http://mbam.malwarebytes.org/program/mbam-setup.exe
Download, install, update, run a quick scan, if it finds anything, then do a full scan.
I would also get a virtumonde remover http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/VundoFix.shtml
nothing to install, just extract run, scan, delete what it says belongs to virtumonde, and reboot.
on your above log

and update kaspersky and run a full scan of all your drives with it.
if kaspersky is running then why didnt that pick up virtmonde <which it should have. I used to use kaspersky antivirus 2009, not the one you have but the lighter version.0 -
I tried Malwarebytes when I first suspected I had an infection and it didn't pick it up.
Went through severall of the Anti virus apps I have saved (uninstalling the ones I dont actually use after the scans)
Kapersky doesn't seem to have the ability to finish a search, often crashing before the end (even though it's fully updated) It does show me what it's stopping coming in though.
I actually have a fix vundo app on my PC from the last one I had!
It's frustrating, AVG free will not work for me and their tech guys cant work out why, with the only solution being to buy the full version. Kapersky is looking suspect.
As much as people slate Norton, I always found when I had Norton 360 and then 2009 (had a free 1 year subscription) it kept most nasty things out.
Cheers for help so farSaving and spending in equal measure0 -

Cheers for the help guys. I love this place!
Out of curiosity, all of the other junk that is in my Hijackthis log, although not dangerous, is it having an effect on my PC's performance by running in the background?Saving and spending in equal measure0 -
Due to limitation in vista, you shouldnt really install more than 1 antivirus, used to be able to before it got more complicated, with AVG it could be something left behind in the registry which is stopping it. Did you have it install once before before installing kaspersky, and then uninstalled it, not a fan of avg personally, would rather use avast or antivir both free.0

Yeah, I had a soft spot for AVG after it rid me of a load of virus' when others couldnt a while back. So used that. Then went to Kapersky.
I dont have them all on at the same time. Installed, but doing nothing. Tuned in nicely with the windows security thing. A few I uninstall after use anyway.
Did a MalwareBytes again and it found nothing. My main concern now is the Escdomains in the reg. Want to delete it as its full of nasty looking stuff. Not sure on consequences though.Saving and spending in equal measure0
