I am looking to buy a new camera, but I am unsure which make to go for. I am undecided between Panasonic or Sony. My current cmaera is a 4 year old Sony Cybershot, but I find it doesn't take good action shots - they go blurry. Any ideas?
Thanks

It depends on your budget and whether you want a digital or SLR. I've got a Panasonic DMC-FX150 which I got for £180 and it's great.
I'm sure, positive even, that camera experts will pop in and give their opinions.0 -
Too vague, brand is less important (provided you stick to a quality camera brand) than other factors. Canon, Nikon, Panasonic would be my top three choices. For small compacts the Ixus models are hard to beat, bridge cameras the Canon G9/10 are as good as they get, DSLRs really the Nikon and Canon range are where it is at, but Sony Alphas are good as an option.
Type of camera - compact, bridge, DSLR
Budget
Experience, type of shots etc.
Ignore megapixels, look for lens quality, sensor detail and camera features in compacts/bridge.
