CTC Underpayment

Hi, wondered if anybody could help I have a query on CTC.
My husband was made redundant in January of this year and I informed the CTC that I was the only person working now. I work 12 hours per week and so cannot claim WTC.
I thought my WTC would change in April but they didn't, still £42 per month so at the end of May I called again and apparently my husband is still on their computers as working (I wish!!), she promised to amend this and send new letters out with our CTC award on it.
I checked my account last week when CTC was due and still the same amount (I had been expecting a bit more than that). So I called and informed them again that my husband wasn't working and he said I needed to finalise last years CTC award, I wanted to do it over the phone so we could at least get something extra next month but the chap on the phone said no you must wait for a finalisation letter. It's been over a week now and I still have had no letters from CTC and am wondering if I should call and ask again or should I write with copies of our P60s in.
regards
Sally

Have you provided them with an estimated income figure for 2009/10 for you both?
If not you should provide this asap otherwise your award will still be based on the 2008/09 income.
However, be warned that if you under estimate your income you will be overpaid.0 -
Well today I received a WTC letter Annual Review year end 2009. The hours noted down on the form are for 18 hours!! I do no where near that many hours, currently 13-14 at most, so I gave them a call to say I am not able to claim WTC as I don't do 16 hours or more, they were helpful, so while on the line I asked them again about my CTC.
They have paid my CTC into my husbands current account!! I normally get my CTC through my bank and haven't used my husbands bank account for over 5 years for these payment!
It's a good job I did speak to them about this as I also received a payment of £14 into my bank account last Friday (as I asked for the payments to be made weekly) and thought it would just take time for me to receive the £96. Of course the £96 that was due has now been swallowed by my husbands bank charges and we can not get hold of it.
I was rather annoyed as the gentleman said that he couldn't confirm where the next payment was going but has taken my husbands account off the system so hopefully I should get the (much needed) CTC next week.
I don't understand how this can happen he was rather insistent that my CTC had been paid to my husbands account for the last two payments!!
Well "fingers crossed" I will get my CTC next Friday.
