Just wanted to say a massive thanks to O2. Had a PAYG, from 2002 -2006 ish (maybe before)
I love them, they were always giving me free things. Eg, I;ve had 10% back from top ups, extra minutes and texts, Every now and then there will be a new special offer for existing customers - I know most companies, once you're their customer they don't care and they work at getting new customers in with their special offers!! (Now, they're doing "02 surprises" for payg etc)
I changed to contract, then barely used it so cancelled when I had the chance - when I was offered a rolling contract for £10 a month, with free mins and texts. Wasn't getting any use from that at all - so I rang up to cancel.
"You've been a customer for such a long time, in order to keep your telephone number open we will put you on a £5 a month contract and WE will pay your rental which includes free minutes and texts"
Checked my balance yesterday with them and I have a ridiculous amount of credit (paid in by 02) and I just love them love them love them!!!!!!
Thanks O2 for keeping me happy for probably 10 years (can't remember when I first used them!) :T

Wow, sounds like they love you too!
I really like them, but I'm not sure we're in love
.
I've had an Orange PAYG for a couple of years, never had any trouble with them, the website works, topping up from orange plus on the phone works, Orange Wednesday works.
I bought my OH an Orange PAYG for Christmas and we had problems activating the blooming thing - the guy in their customer services just sorted everything out with no fuss at all, he was so nice and so efficient it was almost... surprising!0 -
Im on Voda and I too think they are great!
I've got Anynet, Stop the Clock, Free Weekends and Vodafone IOU... Basically, after 7.30 pm which is when I make most of my calls, its 10p per minute to any network and I only pay for the first 3 minutes but can talk for up to one hour! (ie 30p) My mate on T-Mobile pays that for ONE MINUTE!
If I spend £5 during the week I get free calls and texts all weekend, and then when I run out of credit I have £2 extra credit to use which I pay back in my next Top-Up. I just ring them from my phone to top up by debit card, which takes seconds.. I've been a Voda customer on and off for years and constantly for the last 4... and never had any problems! If I go to top up (rare) in a shop and they give me the hard sell about being on contract, I simply say to them 'I've got such a good deal on PAYG, why would I want to be on contract??'
I probably would be better off on contract because I've got a very high spend (in excess of £50 per month) but I like the fact that if I run out of money, I simply cant top-up and no-one is bothered. However if I cant pay the bill............!!!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Sounds like we're all happy!! Still, couldn't pay me to switch from O2
(Considering they've just paid me £200 to stay!!!) I love surprises!0
