I'm interested in the answer to this. I too have a cordless mouse and keyboard.
There is a halfmoon button top left but I'm not going to press it until i know how to do get it to wake up again.

If you have the keyboard software or manual that will tell you what it does
I for one dont use it at all, it just puts the PC into hibernation mode press it again
and that will bring the PC out of hibernation mode, but you MUST have the keyboard drivers and software installed first of all.

If the PC goes off and wont come back on a tap of the power button should
also do the trick, dont forget to have the keyboard software installed.

How about reading the instructions as it's brand new!

What make and model is it?

I have a wireless keyboard and mouse and I don't have to do anything i.e. no sleep button.

    ;)

Mine came with the computer and I have no instructions. Not that I ever think I would use the hibernation mode. I'm just curious.

Actually I think electron has hit the nail on the head. I would guess that this sleep key is just a pre-programed function key to put the PC in hibernation or sleep mode. I think that the power button on the PC would need to be pressed to bring it back up again.

    :D
