Going to pisa and florance

:A
Hi everyone
This is my first post. My hubby and I are going to Pisa on 15th july 09 for 7 nights we would like to stay in Pisa then Lucca and on to Florence and maybe stay a night at the beach resort on the coast before we go home. Dose anyone know of good B&B's or hotels that wont break the bank and not to far from the trains. I'll cross my fingers and hope some of you can give me your knowledge on accommodation in this area. Thank's

I used Booking.com and found some good rates on there. I have often used lastminute.com for accomodation before.

Have a lovely time. You will. It is a lovely place. Consider booking tickets to the Uffizi, Accademia and/or Bargello before you get there. You book tickets for a set time slot which saves queuing.

Please report back on whether you found it too hot or busy, as another moneysaver had some concerns abut that. (I think it will be very hot, but it wasn't really busy when I was there the beginning of June.)

It is worth spotting the one euro or 99 cent shops for beer in their fridge.
  • Hi Pee thanks for the info will look into it and let you know how i get on.

We sometimes use the travellers point site, lots of cheap and alternative accomodation.

    http://www.travellerspoint.com/accommodation.cfm

Some of it might not be suitable so may be useful tracking reviews for each accomodation on a site like trip advisor.

We stayed at a nice place in florence via this site which was cheap and right in the centre.

Why have you started a seperate thread for this when it is already mentioned in your original thread? You are far better putting full details in the Beat My Quote thread at the top of this page as more people who can help are likely to see it there.
