Who makes Caple ovens?

I've been offered a Caple oven by my insurance company, but know nothing about them.

Who makes them?

Are they any good?

They could be part of a company called Premium Appliance Brands (PBA) who import a lot of cheaper end of the market electricals which are then badged for various appliance companies.

If not part of this company, I know that Capel use a lot of the same suppliers as PBA.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

what the web needs is an effective search engine where stuff like that can be looked for: they could call it Google perhaps

Yup, they are supplied by Maurice Lay, but they are made by PBA as cattie stated and then re-branded...

According to Caple they are not. PBA had nothing to do with them pretty much.

Maurice Lay buys them and brands them as Caple directly from factory. They will however share many suppliers with what was PBS, CDA, Baumatic and so on.
