Hi,
We bought a pc from Lidl - it has been wonderful, so no complaints. I suddenly noticed on the empty box (duh) that it has a DVB-T digital and analogue tuner on it. We have a remote control - so obviously that is what that is for! So the question is - how do we receive tv signals? what do we do to get tv on the computer?
If i can get it working then when the Champions League is on, I'll be watching repeats of Bleak House. Or something like that! So please help and save me from mid-week footie!

Basically all that you need to do is connect an aerial feed to the tuner card in the PC and then run the software that was supplied with it (probably Power Cinema) which will scan and store available channels.
Do not expect it to work if you do not give it a good signal as with an ordinary TV set. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
By far the best was to receive TV signals is from a TV aerial, these are the spiky metal comb like things that you may have seen on house roofs.
Seriously though you may want to use the freeview postcode checker to see if you can get freeview in your area, there will be an aerial socket on the back of the TV tuner card for you to connect the aerial to.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
