when i try to copy a cd with nero i get all the way to burn and it says drive is in use..but its not!!....any ideas?

Which operating system are you using? - Windows XP (Pro/Home), 98 etc?
Which version of Nero are you using? (Help - About)
What is the exact and complete text of the error message?
At what stage in the burning process does the error occur?0 -
ok its windows xp and nero 6,i can make the compilation and the burner drive is correctly identified as "E",however when i click burn it says "drive is in use".A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

Try...
Open my Computer
Right click on the drive icon for the CD Writer.
Select Properties
Select the Recording Tab
Untick 'Enable CD Recording on this drive'
Click Apply and OK.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

..............and if that doesn't work, go into Nero Info Tool and check ASPI layer isn't corrupted/uninstalled (for both system and Nero).
