Hello,
My son is always on his PS3 talking "online" with his friends. Hes going through a bit of a problem with his friends just now, and now they are not showing him how to set some things up on the PS3. I havent a clue about any of this, or what kind of things you can do or get for the PS3.
At the moment, I know that they can talk to each other online whilst they are all playing the same game, but, yesterday his "friend" said that he has found a way where they can talk to each other online but they dont have to all be on the same game!!!! My son asked his friend to tell him how to do this, but he said no. Can anyone give me any ideas how to do this?
Also, is there anything else that he can get/do on the PS3 that we might not know about? He is forever playing Call of Duty, and got money for his birthday so he has purchased the most up to date map (whatever that is).
I hope this is the right board to post this on, if it isnt im sorry.
Jackie

I was thinking it might be Skype but apprently thats only available on the PSP (which is my gadget of choice for games).0 -
Sounds to me like his 'friends' dont want him playing with them anyways
Heres the PS3 chat function ~

Ive not used it so cant really say much about it but my understanding is either his friends are telling 'porkies' or im missing something myself
Anything else he can use it for?? Im not sure what your question is but you can use a pc to stream to it (play videos, music etc)
Get online. View photos. Use the inbuilt software to download new demos etc:idea:0
