    I agree the only way is up ... but didn't they have minus interest rates in Japan?

    As my mortgage rates are linked to base rate I am happy to have a negative interest rate on my mortgage, in case any MPC members are reading. It would confuse my spreadsheets but I'm sure I would cope :o

    If you have a good LTV of 75/60% there are plenty of 5 year deals at 4.24/4.45% with fees of £599/899 at the moment.
    you only need a 1% increase in the BOE to be worse off.
    Get yourself a fixed deal NOW and stop worrying for the next 5 years ( overpay if you can afford too) GOOD LUCK

    All depends on redemption values though - too high to be worth it for me :confused:.

    If I was free to move I'd be off though :T
