Had a bad experience with a firm based in Corntown, nr Bridgend - one that does patterned concrete drives (cobbles etc). Strangely, a bloke I bought a car off not long after had used the same firm, and had a very similar bad experience.0

That's the firm and the chap. Just to go over what I remember:
a) Had two quotes from him in less than a year - second was £1300 higher than the original (which I'd kept and used to drive the price down). His price went up from £2200 to £3500!
b) He concreted over the water main
c) He concreted over the stop tap
d) He never finished the job, leaving an unsightly unfinished part where the drive met the patio
e) He ignored the constant phone calls I made trying to get him to finish it
f) I decided against him taking the concrete alongside the garage (can't think why), but he refused to knock anything off the price, despite me saving him at least half a day's work
Stupidly I gave up and let him get away with truly shocking customer service.
The chap who sold me my car was also in dispute with him over a drive that kept flooding due to him concreting over a drain. Again, he totally ignored his pleas to him to put his mistake right.
A very unpleasant person to do business with. I urge you not to!0 -
find the nearest dodgy looking bloke smoking roll-ups with a funny accent..... I'm sure he'll do it for you - all for the very best price of course :rotfl:0
