We are moving to my mother in laws house on 1st July until approx Oct when our new house will be ready. Does anyone have a list of who we need to tell we are moving? I have wrote one but am sure I missing people out.
We are in the process of sorting out a re-direction service via Royal Mail so will I need to tell the bank/DVLA etc still as it will mean changing them twice.
Also with our driving lic and log books would you change them or leave them as it is and then change them when we get to our new house? Bearing in mind the length it usually takes for a new log book and lic!
Thanks Sam

I would change the address on everything. As you do the envelopes now do an extra one for when you move again so you don't have to do all that again.
Do not rely on redirection services. I've lost so much stuff via these.
Go through every bank account for you and everyone in the house
including bonds, credit card etc
all friends, work related stuff etc.
Every item of post you get from now until you move needs looking at and getting the address changed.
Put it in a big list0 -

But personally, in your shoes, I'd start by telling the M-i-L (when I'd got in & had a key..)
Cheers!
