Loan Balance transfer to Credit Card.

I have discovered recently that my daugther has 41% APR loan!

I want to help her as her credit rating is low and mine is okay. I want to pay the loan off, but I want to spread the cost.

Is there a way I can take advantage of 10 mths interest free using a new credit card account such as Barclay card?

The loan company will not take credit card payments.

Your help/advice will be most appreciated... ta.

You'll need a credit card offering Super Balance Transfers .
  • I tried to do this with an HSBC loan transfer to a HSBC credit card but the charges were so high and interest is added to the credit card due to it technically being a loan. My only option (and the way i payed it) was to open an alliance and leicester account and take advantage of there 0% 12 month overdraft.I was allowed £350 and used that to pay off most of the loan. If i helped in any way feel free to press thanks !
