When I put a cd rom in the drive, it used to start automatcty, but no longer does this.
I have put a disc in to clean it but this did not solve the problem.
I now have to go into my computer and click on the disk icon to make it run, is this the right way to do it?
Please advise- ps in lay man`s or womens terms as i am not very technical.
Thank you

2.In Control Panel, double-click System.
3.On the Device Manager tab, click the PLUS SIGN (+) next to CDROM to expand the branch.
4.Click your CD-ROM or DVD drive, and then click Properties.
5.On the Settings tab, make sure the Auto Insert Notification check box is ticked, if not then click on it to select it.

Thanks for that, I can get as far as the settings tab, but it does not have the `auto insert notification` box, only 1 about audio.
