Advice Please on Laptops

Looking for a laptop and need some recomendations. Only really need it for (a)surfing the net from my hotel room (b) watching DVD's and (c) doing word processing, spreadsheets etc. Any recommendations?

lol u never said u wanted 1 with a dvd-rw hehehehehehe but keep lookin on the comet site as they do seem 2 b the cheapest i could ind as the 1 i got still goes 4 about £480 on other sites
