Or a pile of plastic junk?

I have been asked my opinion by a world travelling conference facilitator so it needs to be reliable. I am inclined to say stear clear get something more conventional. But I have actually never seen one!

They have them on display in the larger Tesco's (or a very similar one) so you could go have a look if you wanted. I had a quick look, and first impressions were that it felt nice and solid, but very 'glossy' plasticy.

If it needs to be reliable id forget about comsumer class laptops like the tx2, the business laptops are far better built, way more reliable and customer service is far more interested in helping you.

Its a good laptop otherwise reasonably powerful has nice features, runs a bit hot and loud compared to other tablets, oh and the touchscreen glass is the most brittle substance in world.

Yes I have one. Its very noisy it sounds like a hairdryer, the fan makes a racket! The LCD backlight makes a high pitched wine also. I've had it back to HP for service because the keyboard keys kept coming off and mentioned the noise but they say it no fault found and only replaced the keyboard. I guess they all make the noise so is a design fault!

The touchscreen part works ok and that what i bought it for but if ever a better touchscreen laptop will make it to the market for £750 then I would go for that. When I bought this a year ago it was either this or a Dell costing over £1000! Thats too much!

I would not recommend this laptop, all the noise is far too loud. Performance is slow for a dual core 2.2 GHz. I don't know if there are better touchscreen laptops out there now.
