Graphics card advice

I'm looking for a new graphics card but theres so many different makes and they all claim to be the best so I was hoping I could get some advice on what card to buy. I'll list my requirements and I hope someone in the "know" will be able to help me out with a recommendation.

• Pci-Express 2
• 512mb or more memory
• Svideo out
• less than £60

I dont play games but I do allot of video encoding between formats so it needs to be able to handle large files relatively quickly. Not asking much am I.

You can afford either an ATi Radeon HD 4670 or a Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT. If you're willing to stretch your budget a little you should be able to bag a superior Radeon HD 4770 for around eighty pounds, or a HD 4830 for slightly less.

If you don't already possess a GPU-assisted transcoding application, a card from the Radeon family may be more cost-effective: the Avivo Video Converter can be had for free, whereas the likes of Badaboom cost money.
