Halifax fraud

Hi everyone I am a newbie my hubby and I bank with halifax last week noticed unusual activity on our account £479 called halifax told them this was fraud they said if we were 100 per cent sure they would cancel this, I thought this was end to matter looked online this morning only to be find a week later the halifax have let this transaction go through our account overdraft now over the limit hubby called bank they said they would increase overdraft till this is sorted and have now hit us with a bank charge for going over our limit do you think we can get this charge reversed ?

Yes. Ask nicely and they will refund.

I think it's more important that you are reassured that your fraud claim is being properly dealt with though, as you seem to have been fobbed off originally.
