Utilita visit and pre payment meters

Hello all

My partner had a visit today for a Utilita sales person and due to there sales tactics she ended up signing a 12 month contract for them to change both our gas and electric pre payment meters to there new smart pre payment meters and for them to be our new supplier.

First thing is there a legal cooling off period so I can cancell this contract.

Next, as there prices seam good, is there any reason, after investigation, not to switch to them?

I'm not sure about their new meters as I did hear that other suppliers did not support them.

I am really in the dark on this one so would love some help.

check on a comparrison site to see if utilita are cheapest they certainly will not be for gas
and next time a utility salesmen calls tell them to go away and do your own research

Their prices may seem good, but look at any comparison site and you'll see they appear WAAAAY down the list.
