you must feel very proud of yourself getting someone banned from ebay for anything from 30 days to indefinet. never find if they need the money to feed, clothe kids as long as you didnt have to pay more for an item

As I was told very bluntly on here a few months ago and have come to learn shill bidding is very common on ebay and this wont be the first or the last time you come across it and most times you wont even spot it.

Ooo-er, been banned lately have we?

ETA: Actually, your post has annoyed me a bit. I have kids at home to feed and clothe, and have recently had to give up work to care for my eldest who is autistic - so no, I don't want to pay more for an item and no I don't want to "give" to someone who may or may not have kids/animals/drug habit/lifelong ambition to travel to the moon to support and who can't be bothered to learn how to use eBay within the rules. So freaking sue me!

Well if they got banned, it was their own fault for being filthy scammers then, isn't it??

I think the OP has every reason to feel proud of themselves, it keeps ebay safe for
buyers who may also need to provide for children. and should not be defrauded in this way
You are quite right it is not easy to spot, and most people would not take the time
and effort to report it, so I say a very big thank you to the OP and I think you should be ashamed to defend fraud

I know it goes on but am getting really annoyed at how much its going on lately.

I was bidding on 2 items today from the same seller, looked at the bidders and notice on both items, bidder number 3 has bid on 30 items with 66% with this seller. Clearly shill bidding so I looked on and found the same on 6 out of their 10 items! Reported them to Ebay!

Bidding on something for DD and got outbid so bidded again as only 10 mins left, looked at the bidders and the bidder whos pushing the price up has bid on 24 items from this seller and 100% bidding is with them! Reported them to ebay too. Really loved the outfit and am so annoyed

it takes all of a second to look at the bidding activity and if it hadnt looked suspcious i wouldnt of gone onto look at their other items! not that its any of your concern why I looked. Making childish comments like that suggests its you that needs to get a life. If youve nothing constructive to say then dont say it! Just move onto another post.

I suspect those that have made such comments are sellers whi shill bid themselves. Hopefully you will get caught and ebay ban you indefinite.

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Hmmm, I had two buyers over the weekend who are new eBayers, have bought an item from me on BIN and not paid yet. OK, I know it's only a couple of days but most people pay fairly promptly, usually instantly with BIN. Wonder whether this may be the shiller's revenge. Oh well. (I may of course just be paranoid :o).
